Hailing from Annecy, in eastern France, Julie, like many of her peers, began skiing in the mountains but was quickly inspired to take up skateboarding by her childhood friend and neighbor Lucien Genand at the age of 15. It wasn’t long before the local skate shop ABS made her their first female sponsored skateboarder.
Having spent the past three years studying in Lyon, it’s no surprise Julie’s quickly become a staple of the French skateboarding scene. Equally at home with slappy grinds as she is with flip tricks, her fearlessness rapidly garnered the attention of Rave Skateboards, helping pave the way for a new generation of female skateboarders.
