BLUE TILE LOUNGE

Originally founded in Ontario, Canada as a skatepark in 1997, Blue Tile Lounge later reopened at 822 Dundas St West, in the little Portugal neighborhood of Toronto, as the full-service skate shop that stands today. Almost every piece of the shop’s merch gets screen printed by hand by the store manager with designs depicting a deep pride for their beloved city. The shop’s name was hastily pulled from a reference in the 1980s skate classic “The Search for Animal Chin”. They assumed they would get around to changing it, but 20+ years later, they’re still Blue Tile Lounge.
