Established in 1989, STREETMACHINE had its humble skateshop beginnings in the heart of Paris. Owner Tobia Sloth then went on to open the doors of his second shop in San Diego before finally bringing it back home to Copenhagen in 1996.

Quiet Days in Copenhagen
In 2007 our first full video came out. The title was inspired by Henry Miller's novel "Quiet Days in Clichy" (adapted by legendary Danish Filmmaker and artist Jens Jørgen Thorsen). Much like the novel our days were not quiet at all. We spend two years skating, touring, and filming while doing everything we skateboarders do to keep us from going insane dealing with the pressure of filming and trying to land tricks. But the quiet days were also fun days and we still share the stories from those times gone by.
