Brazil continues to produce skateboarders that excel on the big stage and fuel progression through technicality and consistency. Determined to contribute to that movement, a then 16-year-old Carlos Ribeiro convinced his parents to let him dip out on high school and pursue skateboarding in Barcelona, Spain. Perpetually upping his skill and technique, Carlos’ work ethic and a move to California secured him a spot on Paul Rodriguez’s Primitive roster and a first place finish at Tampa Pro 2019, proving that he’s potent on camera or under pressure.
