Understanding the confluence between skateboarding footwear and soccer design and functionality, the Nike Zoom Air Abington SB borrowed from indoor football heritage and repurposed it for skateboarding. Low, light and flexible, the Abington stayed aesthetically simple, while adding several customizations for skating, including elastic tongue straps, hidden lace protection and a contoured footbed, balanced by a Phylon midsole.
